Description

At 7:03 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to toonie size hail and heavy rain. A severe thunderstorm has developed around 25 km northeast of Alexis Creek and is moving at approximately 45 km/h. This storm is expected to cross through Tautri within the next hour. ### Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.

Instruction

Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
