At 5:34 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is located over the northeastern suburbs of Edmonton moving slowly to the east. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.

Instruction

Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
