Description

At 17:10 on May 18, 2025, Qingyuan County Meteorological Station continued to issue the yellow warning signal of rainstorm: due to the influence of heavy precipitation cloud clusters, moderate to heavy rain fell in our county in the past 12 hours, and part of the rainstorm. From 05:00 to 17:00, the area rainfall of the whole county was 38.1mm, and the cumulative rainfall of three stations exceeded 75mm, of which the largest was Liangguantian Station, 86.5mm. It is expected that there will still be 10-30 millimeters of precipitation in all towns (streets) of our county from tonight to night, with some areas receiving over 40 millimeters of precipitation. Please pay attention to preventing secondary disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses that may be caused by continuous precipitation.

Instruction

1. The government and relevant departments should pay attention to the early warning signal dynamics in a timely manner, and do a good job in emergency work against rainstorm according to relevant regulations; 2. Relevant responsible units shall take necessary drainage measures according to the situation; 3. Suspend outdoor operations and activities as appropriate, and outdoor personnel should avoid activities in dangerous areas such as streams, rivers, culverts, and low-lying areas prone to flooding; Vehicles should try to avoid high-risk areas such as flooded roads and sunken overpasses, and avoid placing materials and vehicles in low-lying and flood prone areas.
