Description

The meteorological observatory of Kangma County, Xizang, will issue a yellow snow warning signal at 12:15 on April 28, 2025: it is expected that from 20:00 on April 28 to 20:00 on April 29, there will be moderate to heavy snow (3.8-7.4 mm) or sleet in most townships of the county, including Shaogang Township, Nirumai Township, Nirudui Township, Xiongzhang Township, Kangru Township, Sama Township and Dari Village, where there will be heavy to heavy snow (7.5-15.0 mm). Defense measures: 1. Due to the influence of snowfall weather, major road sections and high-altitude mountainous areas in various towns and villages in our county are prone to snow and ice accumulation. Drivers and passengers are advised to pay attention to road traffic safety, and relevant departments are requested to carry out road snow removal, melting and other related work; 2. In high-altitude pastoral areas, efforts should be made to strengthen the cold prevention, enclosure, and feed reserve of livestock; 3. During the snowfall process, various road sections and mountainous areas in our county are prone to low visibility weather such as blowing snow and fog, which has adverse effects on transportation and animal husbandry.
