In northeast New Mexico, Eastern San Miguel County, Far Northeast Highlands, Harding County, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass, Northeast Highlands and Union County. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will erupt this afternoon over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and will eventually migrate into the northeast and east central plains by late afternoon through the evening hours. The stronger storms will be capable of rainfall rates that will exceed two inches per hour.
