* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the following county, Horry. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 617 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated additional heavy rain moving in from the south. This will cause renewed urban and small stream flooding in areas which saw heavy rain earlier. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in North Myrtle Beach and Briarcliffe Acres. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area and will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Wampee, Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, Hand, Briarcliffe Acres, Atlantic Beach, Sea Coast Medical Center and Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. - weather.gov/safety/flood
