Overnight low temperatures of 60 to 70 degrees. * WHERE...The valleys in central and western Siskiyou County. This includes Weed, Yreka, Montague, Etna, Fort Jones, Happy Camp and Somes Bar. * WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat. Warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief from hot daytime temperatures.
Instruction
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
