Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

These storms will be a mix of dry and wet, but exceptionally dry fuels in the area will allow for favorable conditions for lightning ignitions. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty and erratic outflow winds up to 40-50 mph are expected, with a 10 percent chance of exceeding 55 mph. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. New fire starts are possible from lightning, and gusty outflow winds in the vicinity of new and existing fires may lead to rapid fire spread.
