At 1256 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles northeast of Arlington to 2 miles northwest of Crescent. Movement was south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...These winds are moving into areas that experienced heavy tree damage from recent storms. The gusty winds could knock down tree limbs that were damaged but remain in the trees. Use extra caution, even though these storms are not especially strong, as they can still damage the weakened trees. * Locations impacted include... Omaha, Blair, Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, Missouri Valley, Valley, Yutan, Fort Calhoun, Waterloo, Crescent, Kennard, Leshara, Florence, Benson, and Washington.

If outdoors, avoid damaged trees that may still have hanging branches. Consider seeking shelter inside a building.
