At 11:04 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is approaching the international border, moving southeast at 50 km/h. Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts and quarter size hail. ### Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
Instruction
Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
