The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Isolated storm total rains overnight within this warned area could reach as high as 7 inches. Flash flooding is likely ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Antonio, Boerne, Blanco, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Bulverde, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Bergheim, Guadalupe River State Park, Timberwood Park, Kreutzberg, Spring Branch, Kendalia, Leon Springs, The Dominion and Smithson Valley. At 12:05 AM CDT a report of 3 inches and a rainfall rate of 5.5 inches per hour was received in Spring Branch.
