In southeast Texas, Brazoria, Matagorda and Wharton. * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of roads, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Expect many areas of standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from earlier storms to work through local drainage systems and recede. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 504 PM CDT, Between 6 and 14 inches of rain have fallen earlier today. No more significant rain is anticipated going into the overnight hours, but standing water will remain slow to recede. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
