Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Tensas, Madison, Jefferson, Claiborne and Warren Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez. * WHEN...Until Wednesday, July 02. * IMPACTS...At 47.0 feet, Water begins to enter the Carthage Point Road area south of Natchez. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 45.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 47.1 feet Thursday evening. - Action stage is 38.0 feet. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, East Cameron, Lafayette, Lower Iberia, Lower St. Martin, Lower St. Mary, Lower Vermilion, Northern Acadia, Northern Calcasieu, Northern Jefferson Davis, Southern Acadia, Southern Calcasieu, Southern Jefferson Davis, St. Landry, Upper Iberia, Upper St. Martin, Upper St. Mary, Upper Vermilion and West Cameron and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Lower Jefferson, Northern Orange, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton, Southern Orange and Upper Jefferson. * WHEN...Through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several days of heavy rainfall across portions of the I 10 corridor have saturated the soils through this area. Several rounds of widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon.
