Description
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas, including the following counties, in east central Kansas, Anderson, Coffey, Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Lyon, Morris, Osage, Shawnee and Wabaunsee. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Riley. * WHEN...From late tonight through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms will be possible tonight across portions of the watch area which may produce heavy rainfall. A second round of storms is likely Sunday night into early Monday morning. Generally, 2 to 3 inches of rainfall could fall in a 3-6 hour period with higher amounts possible across areas that see repeated storms.
