In southeast Texas, Austin, Brazoria Islands, Brazos, Burleson, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston Island, Grimes, Houston, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland Harris, Inland Matagorda, Madison, Matagorda Islands, Montgomery, Trinity, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Upper level conditions are favorable for some training and regenerating storms for the rest of today over portions of Southeast Texas. For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Moss Bluff, Liberty...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Riverside. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 135.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues as significant backwater up Thomas Lake floods the lowest areas in the Green Rich Shore Subdivision in Walker County with the boat ramp completely inundated. The lowest lying areas in the Deep River Plantation Subdivision and FM 980 northwest of Riverside are threatened. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 133.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 132.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM CDT Thursday was 133.6 feet. - Forecast...Additional rises are possible during the next several days. - Flood stage is 133.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 135.0 feet on 05/11/1966. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
