Comal River At New Braunfels affecting Gonzales, Comal and Guadalupe Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Comal River at New Braunfels. * WHEN...From this morning to late this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding extends into low areas near the tube chute at Prince Solms Park above San Antonio Street and low areas of the flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Thursday was 11.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.9 feet late this morning.
