At 515 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20 miles west of Nordman, or 37 miles northwest of Priest River. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Lost Creek and Tiger. This includes U.S. Highway 20 in Washington between mile markers 383 and 399.
Instruction
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
