Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Bands of numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms will impact portions of the South Carolina Lowcountry and coastal Georgia through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches can be expected through early Monday morning with localized amounts exceeding 5 inches. * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways (7.1 to 7.3 feet Mean Lower Low Water at Charleston). * WHERE...Coastal Colleton and Charleston Counties. * WHEN...From 8 PM to 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...This could result in some roads becoming impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide will occur around 9:40 PM today at Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.
