Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected across the watch area tonight into Sunday morning. Very high rainfall rates of 2 inches or greater in a short time are possible, which could lead to flash flooding particularly in urban areas. In addition, with the potential for repeated rounds of storms, some locations could receive 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. With saturated soils from previous rainfall, these rainfall rates and rainfall amounts will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding.

Extensive inundation of agricultural land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.5 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 16.8 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
